product of the month: brush soap
The product of the month is one we use all the time to clean our wax and paint brushes. It is the creation of another MMSMP retailer and is also a green product. It smells divine and makes our brushes oh-so-soft! Stop by the store and ask to clean our brushes (I’m not kidding about this – you need to see it in action)…

We are almost certain this piece contained an old stand up radio at one time. It is the perfect size and shape and the inside shelves are what my husband would call “after-market.” I think someone who was handy must have taken the insides out and replace with some stained shelving. It is a beautiful piece but it was Ma-ha-gony when we started so we went with a darker color, MMSMP artissimo, and it turned out great…

One of our favorite families was looking for a china cabinet for some extra storage. We measured and planned and worked together to find this lovely Duncan Phyfe style cabinet and then painted the exterior in Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Artissimo. It worked out perfectly for them (and for us because we lovveee working with them)!
colors of the month: ironstone and bergere
The colors of month for January are reflective of the weather — white and blue gray!
Ironstone, the true white of the MMSMP line, reminds me of fresh, falling snow.
And Bergere can be like the blue/gray skies in January, sometimes it looks more blue and sometimes more gray…
