Product of the Month: tough coat
We love the product of the month for April, tough coat!
Our premium, non yellowing tough coat provides extra durability against general wear and tear, water damage and food stains. Perfect for those high traffic surfaces such as table tops, seating, doors and floors. Apply with a roller or brush onto recently painted or clean, non oily/greasy surfaces.
If applying to a recently painted surface, allow the surface to dry 24-36 hours before applying. For maximum durability, apply two coats waiting 2-4 hours between coats. In humid areas, longer drying times may be required. 500 mL covers approximately 75 sqft. Easy clean up with soap and warm water. Dries to a matte finish.
before & after: two tables, two ways
Here are a couple of great examples of how our Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint can be used on a variety of furniture styles to get numerous, very different looks.
One, rustic and antiqued. We stained the top of the table using MMSMP in Curio and blended the yellow with antiquing wax:
Two, refined with little distressing and straight clear furniture wax:

colors of the month: lucketts green and mustard seed yellow
Is it spring yet? I guess the answer in Indiana is “not today”! Well, at least or Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint colors are spring-like! Nothing says spring like yellow and green…
The finish options for these colors are all amazing. fivethirty likes to do a clear, furniture wax finish on Lucketts Green and a lightly antiqued finish on Mustard Seed Yellow.
Zionsville Road Closure
Hi there! Just a quick email to let you know about the road work happening in Zionsville for the remainder of 2019. Zionsville Road will be closed from just north of 96th street to 106th street. Please visit us by using Michigan Road and then turning west on either 106th or Sycamore (west side of 116th). All roads from the west are open. See map for clarification and always call 317.567.7781 if you have questions. Thanks for understanding!
before & after: let’s hold hand(le)s
before & after: springtime tables
I am so ready for pastel colors and sunshine and all the happy things! You, too? Well, then, do I have a couple of tables for you! Both of these sweet tables were finished in Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Eulalies Sky (actually the kicker here is that there are 3 tables because the square table has a twin!)
