Two coats of Jolie in Linen and a coat of clear finishing wax complete the redo on this old plant stand!

I love it when we get two matching pieces in that can be used for bedside tables! We decided to go pure white with some distressing on these french provincial beauts. ANd, we painted the hardware — this is usually a call I make on a case by case basis. Sometimes we will update the french style pulls with a more modern metallic finish but I thought it would be too much of a contrast with the pure white. What do you think? That yellowed finish with gold accents certainly reminds me of my own bedroom furniture from my childhood. I like the update!

We have one of these in our guest room and it is great for people to put their suitcase on while visiting. No need to unpack! We gave this peice an update using Jolie paints in Linen, a taupe-gray color and one of my favorite neutrals! The original fabric is still in tact, mainly because it has a cool greek key pattern and it is hard to get fabric back on these puppies!!

If you’ve been in the store, you know we are infamous for having tables of all shapes and sizes! Well, there are two of these cuties – I love the size! They are a perfect occasional table to tuck in here and there. Painted in Jolie Noir, our true black, they are sure to fit any space and make it beautiful.

Sometimes I do the “split screen” on these before and after and some of the after gets a little lost in translation. On this piece though, the after really shines through mainly because the before was so bad! It’s oak and was fairly well worn by the time it made it’s way to us. Two coats of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Trophy followed by clear furniture wax completes the transformation. People will occasionally ask why I choose to use a tinted wax. In this case, I did not want to draw attention to the oak grain of the piece and antiquing or white wax can accentuate the older look as it gets down in the grain of the wood.

This cabinet is an exceptionally beautiful piece. The hardware alone is unlike anything I’ve seen (and I see alot of furniture!). We gave it a coat on Jolie Paints in the color graphite, an almost-black which reads dark-dark gray. We painted the lattice and put it back in so as not to lose any of this piece’s fanciful charm!6

This piece reminded me a little of “Say No to This” from Hamilton. Someone was certainly “mistreatin” this poor table! Water stains and questionable dust? Ugh! So, after a good cleaning, we started to transform using Jolie Paints in Legacy, my absolute favorite color! Two coats of paint and wax. Then, we replaced the knobs with some hexagon beauts from the hardware bin. I try not to name the furniture because it’s a little weird but I guess we will have to call her Mariah Reynolds.
