This unusual table is painted in Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint Shutter Gray, one of our Colors of the Month for September! Shutter Gray can be very blue on some pieces and this was certainly one where it looked more blue than gray. To remedy this, we finished the piece in our custom gray wax.
How do you make gray wax? I’m glad you asked! In a separate container, mix a dollop of MMSMP antiquing wax and a dollop of MMSMP white wax. Stir. Very easy and the possibilities are endless depending on how much of each wax you add to the mix.
