We are almost certain this piece contained an old stand up radio at one time. It is the perfect size and shape and the inside shelves are what my husband would call “after-market.” I think someone who was handy must have taken the insides out and replace with some stained shelving. It is a beautiful piece but it was Ma-ha-gony when we started so we went with a darker color, MMSMP artissimo, and it turned out great…
