You have to look closely to see the difference in the before and after for this piece. We stuck close to the original color but had to sand and paint over the sloppy paint job the previous owner had given it. We also added some depth with a coat of our custom mix of antiquing and furniture waxes and replaced the ugly brass knobs with some beautiful ceramic knobs from the hardware bin.
