Corey and his wife, Brynn, came into the store one day in search of a desk. I told them we didn’t have what they were looking for in the store but may have something at our barn. They stopped by a few weeks later and gave the go ahead to paint this guy in Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint Grain Sack.
It had everything Corey needed: Lots of worktop space, a masculine feel and plenty of storage. We all agreed that the hardware was really interesting an decided to keep it.
The person I purchased the desk from told me that it was handmade and as we started painting, we found some interesting details like this stamp “09 58”. I love this kind of stuff – and Corey does too! I immediately texted him to tell him we know now that his new desk was made in September 1958.
Here’s the finished desk:
Corey was thrilled and Brynn liked it too…a couple months later we found a desk for her…
We love our customers — they are the best!
