The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) was created in 1991 and has granted over 30$ million to nonprofit organizations and programs working to improve our community. Their mission is to unite people, organizations, and philanthropy to create a thriving community for all. CFBC has given out over 7 million dollars in scholarships to local students since its creation including over 60 different scholarships in 2024. They also contribute to community programs such as Gift of Grain, Connect Boone County, and Women of Impact. The Community Foundation of Boone Country makes our community a better place!

Happy Back to School, Zionsville! I am so pleased to support the Zionsville Education Foundation (ZEF) and hope you will join me at one of our fundraising events this year!

Zionsville Education Foundation started in 1995 as a nonprofit organization whose mission was “to serve its school community by providing funds that promote academic excellence.” Since its creation, ZEF has awarded over 1.5 million dollars in classroom, professional development, and student enrichment and donors choose matching funds grants. This organization is one of the main pillars of why Zionsville is considered one of the premier public-school systems in the state and why students have found success coming from an incredible education system.

Come volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Boone County! Habitat for Humanity is always working on projects for those in need within the community and is run by volunteers who want to make the community a better place. These projects include housing, repairing the exterior of existing houses, and restoring furniture and items for those who need them. Since its creation in 1984, this organization has built over 70 homes for those in need!
