Erica’s dad, Dan, was a long-time collector of…well…collectables. He was a picker before anyone knew what a picker was. He traveled the world looking for unique things and enjoyed sharing them with other people. Dan lived more than forty years of his life at mile marker 530 on the Ohio River so we chose our name in honor of him.
If she sees something in a catalog or in a store that is industrial chic or contemporary rustic, she will copy it and bring it to fivethirty at a much lower price. Erica has been painting furniture and creating storage and decor for her friends and family for years (just ask them!). Erica is in the store on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
He started woodworking with his grandfather at age five and has had a passion for building and fixing things ever since. He is the fix-it man, the muscle, and the man who knows everything there is to know about tools and how to use them to create or re-purpose beautiful furniture, cabinets, or specialty items.
Jim and Erica have worked together to remodel their home and furnish it with cool, unique pieces. Their custom kitchen is the jewel of the remodel. They are married and have four boys.
He has been selling online since eBay was an eBaby! Marty is our “computer guy” and handles online sales as well as the maintenance of this website. He is also a music fan and an avid collector of music memorabilia. Marty is married to Jim’s sister, Becky, and they have two children.
