Toronto is a great city, and my best friend Keena and I made the most of it! We took a cab to the main shopping area, had lunch at Hemingway’s, and then walked the five miles (I should really use km!) back to the hotel. We hit some cool stores like the Drake General Store and The Papery.
Keena received a recommendation before we left, so we went to the Kit Kat for dinner. It was Italian and very yummy!
The CN tower was all lit up on our walk back to the hotel.
And, Canadian friends, we did try poutine. For everyone else, poutine is a Canadian specialty made of French fries, brown gravy and cheese curds. Sounds weird but it was quite tasty.
Tomorrow – the conference!!
