The Color of the Month this month is Shutter Gray, named by Miss Mustard Seed for it’s reminder of old wooden weathered shutters, which she loves to decorate with. There are many ways to achieve various shades of this soft, soothing color.
At fivethirty, we like to finish Shutter Gray with white wax. The white wax adds dimension and softens the color so that it is a fantastic washed gray, which is a great shade to cohabitate with other colors in your home.
